Frequently Asked Questions

My child is really far behind. Is it too late?
It is never too late. Enid has worked with students who were years behind grade level and helped them make dramatic, measurable progress. The structured literacy approach works because it meets your child exactly where they are and builds from there—systematically and without gaps.
My child doesn’t have a formal diagnosis. Can they still join?
Absolutely. A formal diagnosis is not required. If your child is struggling with reading, writing, or spelling, this program can help. Many students who benefit from structured literacy intervention have never received a formal diagnosis.
How is this different from regular tutoring?
Regular tutoring typically re-teaches what was covered in school. This program uses a completely different approach—Orton-Gillingham based structured literacy—that is evidence-based and specifically designed for how the dyslexic and dysgraphic brain learns. It’s multisensory, systematic, and writing-focused.
What does my child need for virtual sessions?
A computer or tablet with a camera and microphone, a stable internet connection, and a quiet workspace. We’ll ship the workbook and materials to your home before camp starts. That’s it—everything else is provided.
What if my child misses a session?
We understand that things come up. Missed sessions can be made up, and Enid provides individualized homework so your child stays on track. The small group size means every student gets personal attention and no one falls through the cracks.
